Pekan Melayu (GPS: 6.11649, 100.36418) is an enclave in downtown Alor Setar, Kedah. It occupies the area bordered by Jalan Tunku Ibrahim in the north, Jalan Sultan Muhammad Jiwa in the west, Jalan Raja in the east and the Kedah River in the south. This was the old Malay settlement of Alor Setar. It is just next to Pekan Cina, the Chinese settlement or Chinatown.
