Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (GPS: 1.47547, 103.39384) is a Roman Catholic church in Pontian Kechil, Johor. It is located along Jalan Kukup, in Pontian Kecil.
The Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary can trace its roots going all the way back to 18631, when Father A. Perie of the Paris Foreign Missions Society started Catholic work there. It turned out to be too ambitious a plan, and that early chapel was abandoned when it was found to be simply too remote. Over a hundred years would pass before the work was resumed.
