Masjid Sultan Ismail, Muar (11 September, 2016)
Masjid Sultan Ismail (GPS: 2.05086, 102.56173) is the biggest mosque in Muar, Johor. In fact, it is located in Tanjung Agas, across the Muar River from Muar town, and is in fact within the neighbouring Ledang District. Masjid Sultan Ismail is often called the Second Muar Jamek Mosque, because it is built in the same style as Masjid Jamek Sultan Ibrahim in Muar town. Construction of Masjid Sultan Ismail began in 1999, and it was completed in 2002.
