Istana Hinggap Muar (11 September, 2016)
Istana Hinggap Muar (GPS: 2.04613, 102.56039) is the palace of the Sultan of Johor in Muar. It serves as the residence of His Royal Highness whenever he is in residence in town. The Istana Hinggap is located on Jalan Petrie, near the junction of Jalan Omri, to the west of Sultan Abu Bakar Building. The palace is beside the Muar River. It has a jetty on the river, enabling HRH to arrive at the palace by boat.
