Marine Park Information Centre (30 December 2009)
The Marine Park Information Centre (GPS: 2.43423, 103.84111) is a place where visitors can learn about the marine parks in Malaysia, particularly the Johor Marine Park. It is located in Mersing because the town is the gateway to the offshore archipelago which comprises clusters of islands and isles including Pulau Besar, Pulau Sibu, Pulau Dayang, Pulau Pemanggil and Pulau Aur, among others. Pulau Tioman, which is in fact part of Pahang, is also approached through the jetty in Mersing.
