Kota Tinggi Waterfall (GPS: 1.82959, 103.8334) is a major waterfall in Lombong, Kota Tinggi, Johor. The waterfall is 32 meters high. It is located within the Gunung Panti Recreational Forest. There are pools at the bottom for people to swim and bathe in the water. Around the waterfall are public changing rooms and camping grounds. Chalets are also available for rent. From the waterfall, you can continue to trek the recreational forest to Gunung Panti.
The place Lombong was named after the mining of iron ore that used to be done there. Today, the waterfall is the chief attraction of the area, and a prominent sight for visitors to Kota Tinggi.
Getting there
Take Jalan Lombong out of Kota Tinggi. The waterfall is 15 km northwest from town. Entrance fee into the park is a steep RM9 per adult - probably the highest for a public waterfall in Malaysia. On the way to the waterfall is Kota Rainforest Resort.
