Lido Beach (GPS: 1.45696, 103.747) is a waterfront area in Johor Bahru. It is located along Jalan Abu Bakar, at the site of the proposed Johoraya City. Lido Beach was named after a similar beach in Nassau County in New York State, which in turn was named after The Lido in Venice, Italy. There isn't much of a beach at Lido Beach in Johor Bahru today.
