Jalan Ismail Sultan, Johor Bahru (14 September, 2016)
Jalan Ismail Sultan is a major road in downtown Johor Bahru.
Due to how the city centre of Johor Bahru developed, Jalan Ismail Sultan is today fragmented into two parts between Jalan Ibrahim, which is on the south side of the old town. That is because road widening has overlapped the two roads. So the present Jalan Ismail Sultan is on both the east and west ends of Jalan Ibrahim, between the junctions of Jalan Bukit Timbalan and Jalan Jim Quee. Another confusion is that it is also the main road in the Tanjung Puteri neighbourhood, and is therefore also known as Jalan Tanjung Puteri, over which it overlaps.
