SMK Tinggi Batu Pahat (GPS: 1.84249, 102.93342) is a secondary school for boys in Batu Pahat, Johor. Established in 1914, it is the first English school in Johor. In the beginning, it was originally known as Government English School (GES), at the foot of Bukit Bendera, where the JKR has its building today.
Government English School was renamed Government High School (GHS) in 1956. From 1958 to January of 1961, it also hosted the Malay-stream Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Batu Pahat, until that school has its own building.
