Bao Ern Temple is a huge temple in Pingwu is a town on the route between Mianyang and Jiuzhaigou. The layout of temple is like the Forbidden City of Beijing. Though on a smaller scale then the Forbidden City, it is nevertheless a huge temple.

Among the historical treasures within Bao Ern Temple is a Kuan Yin image with many hands that was carved from a single block of wood.
