Fundação Oriente (9 November, 2007)
Fundação Oriente, or the Oriental Foundation, is an organisation in Macau. It was set up in Portugal in 1988 following a 1986 agreement between the Government of Macau and the Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau, when the President of the Republic of Portugal appointed trustees for it.
The mission of Fundação Oriente is to carry out activities related to culture, education, artistic, scientific, social and philanthropic nature in both Portugal and Macau, to help in developing and continuing the relationship between Portugal and the Far East, specifically with China.
Getting there
Fundação Oriente is located next to the Camoes Garden. Following directional sign pointing to Camoes Carden, and you will find it closeby.
