Jilin Province 吉林省 is a province of the People's Republic of China. It is located in the northeast region of the country. It covers 187,000 sq km (72,400 sq mi) and has a population of 28 million (2011 estimate). It is the 13th biggest province of China by area and 21st most populous.
Jilin Province is on the central part of Northeast China. It experiences a continental monsoon climate. The winters here are long and cold while the summers are short and moderately warm.
The capital and biggest city of Jilin Province is Changchun. Other cities in the province includes Baishan, Baicheng, Jilin City, Liaoyuan, Siping, Songyuan, Tonghua and Yangji. The province has a GDP of CNY720.3 billion (22nd) and a per capita GDP of CNY26,289 (11th) in 2009.

You can fly to Jilin Province, arriving at either the Changchun Longjia International Airport (CGQ) or Yanji Airport (YNJ). Changchun receives flights from Seoul and Tokyo in addition to major cities in China. The airport is 31 km from Changchun City and 71 km from Jilin City.
