Beekman Place is a historical residential neighborhood in the Upper Midtown part of Manhattan, New York City. It is a two-block enclave developed into townhouses and small apartments in the 1920's. This exclusive neighborhood was the home of several famous personalities including Gloria Vanderbilt, Rex Harrison, Irving Berlin and a number of the Rockefeller clan. Right now, the most exciting development here is 8 Spruce Street, the second tallest condominium block in New York City.
