Kalispell is the county seat of Flathead County in Montana. Located in northwestern Montana, it has a population of 20,000 people (2011 estimate). The city was founded by James J Hill of the Great Northern Railroad in 1891.

Kalispell is linked via US Highway 2 to the rest of the country. You can fly in, arriving at Glacier Park International Airport, which receives flights from Missoula, Salt Lake City, Denver and Minneapolis-St Paul.
