Cut Bank is a city in northwestern Montana. The city is the county seat of Glacier County, Montana. It is a small city covering just 1 sq mi (2.5 sq km). and has a population of 3,100 people (2011 estimate).
The name Cut Bank refers to the gorge in the area made by the Cut Bank Creek. There is a railway bridge across the river here spanning both sides of the cliff, offering scenic views of the area The city of Cut Bank is just 30 miles to the south of the Canadian border.
