Morne Trois Pitons National Park is a nature park in Dominica. This luxuriant tropical forest surrounds the 1,342-meter volcano, Morne Trois Pitons. Within the park are hot springs, fumaroles, freshwater lates and "boiling lakes". The park covers an area of 6857 hectare, and is recognised as having one of the richest biodiversity in the Lesser Antilles.

Morne Trois Pitons National Park was inscribed as a World Heritage Site during the 21st session of the World Heritage Committee which met in Naples, Italy, on 1-6 December, 1997.

Visiting Morne Trois Pitons National Park

You can fly into one of the two airports in Dominica, namely Melville Hall (DOM) and Canefield (DCF). While in Dominica, unless you arrange for a tour, it is best to rent a car so that you can explore on your own.
