Puerto Octay is a town in Osorno Province, Los Lagos Region, Chile. The town covers 1,795.7 sq km (693.3 sq mi) and has a population of around 12,000 people (2012 estimate).

Puerto Octay is on the north shore of Lake Llanquihue. It was established in 1852 by German settlers. The settlement developed into one of the main ports on the lake. Today it is a charming town with well-preserved buildings, many of which built of wood. The town is in the process of gazetting a heritage zone that reflects the identity and history of the town.
