Zemschug Memorial, Penang
|
Zemschug Memorial is a grave stone put up by the Russian government to commemorate the sailors of the Zemschug which was sunk in the Battle of Penang in 1914. It is one of the two grave stones for those who perished. The other is the Zemschug Grave Marker at Pulau Jerejak.
The Zemschug Memorial is located at the Western Road Cemetery. It is on the left side of the cemetery as you enter.
