Tips for buying Residential Property in Penang

Real Estate Review: Villa Kejora, Relau

Villa Kejora is a high-rise medium-cost apartment complex at Hilir Paya Terubong 2 in Relau, Penang. It comprises 3 blocks of 18-storey apartments of two-bedroom 560 square feet units and 3-bedroom 750 square feet units. Maintenance fee is RM100 per month.

Facilities

Facilities include security, multi-storey parking lot, swimming pool and convenience store.

Location

Villa Kejora is 15 km from Magazine Circus. It is within the high-density Relau neighbourhood. Given a choice, I would say it is more suited for those working in the south side than those working in the city.

Public Transport

Rapid Penang Bus 301 and 306 are the two that pass through the main road, Jalan Paya Terubong.

Amenities

The nearest school is Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Relau. Other schools in the vicinity includes Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Chong Cheng, Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Min Sin and Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Sungai Ara. The nearest market is the Sungai Ara Market. The nearest petrol stations are the Shell and Petronas in Relau. The nearest hospital is Pantai Hospital.

Traffic

Outside of rush hour, traffic is moderate to some times heavy. During the morning and evening rush hours, there is a constant jam at the Relau-Sungai Ara junction caused by road bottlenecking. Traffic coming down from Paya Terubong further contributes to the rush hour congestion.
