Naithon Beach, Phuket (13 July, 2004)
Naithon Beach is a quiet stretch of beach on the northern side of Phuket. The sandy beach is about one kilometer in length. Naithon Beach is quite secluded, and is a good place to escape from all the hustle and bustle of southern Phuket.
So far, two resorts have opened at Naithon Beach, namely Naithon Beach Resort and Naithonburi Beach Resort. The latter has its own swimming pool. This is a good place to unwind, but if you are thinking of staying here, be forewarned that nightlife and the choice of restaurants is a good 30km away in Patong.
Getting there
From the main road (Route 402) that runs north-south, make a turn to Route 4031 and then continue for another 15 minutes to reach Naithon Beach.
