Ayas is a town in the Aosta Valley in northwestern Italy. It is 1,698 m (5,571 ft) above sea level. Covering 129 sq km (50 sq mi), it has a population of less than 1,500 people (2012 estimate).

The nearest major city to Ayas is Turin. From there, take the A5 motorway heading north until Verrès, then continue on the country route SR45 through the mountains to reach Ayas.
