The best Wantan Mee in Penang in my personal opinion is the stall at Jelutong Market. It is located at a makeshift coffee shop facing Ipoh Lane. There may be several Wantan Mee stalls in the Jelutong Market.

To find the best Wantan Mee in Penang, go to Jelutong Market in the morning and look for the makeshift coffee ship where the only food hawker is the Wantan Mee stall. Its business is so good that the coffee ship doesn't need any other hawkers (although you can certainly order over dishes from neighbouring hawker stalls if you are not having Wantan Mee on that day.
My wife and I usually have our Wantan Mee breakfast there at least once a week. What we like about this Wantan Mee is that the noodles are very springy, and the wantans are meaty, unlike other places where there is little meat, just the skin.
