Seri Gemilang Bridge, PutrajayaSeri Gemilang Bridge, Putrajaya (25 September, 2004)

Seri Gemilang Bridge (GPS: 2.90018, 101.67914), or Jambatan Seri Gemilang, links Precinct 4 to Precinct 5 in Putrajaya. It is a 240 metres bridge that consists of a 120 metre main span and two 60 metre end spans.

Seri Gemilang Bridge is located on the southern end of the Boulevard, also called Persiaran Perdana, near the Putrajaya Convention Centre. The bridge, which carries Persiaran Perdana across the Putrajaya Lake, was completed in 2003 and I photographed it about a year after it opened. This ornate bridge is decorated with balusters on the sides and ornamental lamp posts along the central divider. There are three lanes of traffic on each side.

Located on the southern axis of the Putrajaya Boulevard, the Seri Gemilang Brige has dual three-lane carriageways of 10.5m each comprising of 3 x 3.5m width for the lanes.

About this website

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
