Woodville is an elegant mansion built to resemble a French château for the late Lim Lean Teng. It was designed by Charles Miller of the firm A.R.I.B.A in 1925. It includes a tower with a dome, placed to resemble the dome on the former Hong Kong & Shanghai Bank building at Downing Street. The mansion is essentially ecletic in design, taking elements from various styles and fusing them together.
