Tune Hotels.com is a budget hotel located along Burmah Road in George Town. Opened after a RM30 million refurbishing of the existing building, it is the 5th Tune Hotel.com to be opened. With 258 rooms, it is also the largest in the country. The hotel follows its affiliate, AirAsia, in pricing its hotel rooms based on demand. In other words, rooms booked earlier are often priced at a bargain-basement rate, and as the date moves nearer, the price increases for the balance rooms. Smart travellers who book early can enjoy stays for as low as RM9.99 per night. Guests may pay by credit card, Maybank2u.com or cash. The hotel accepts bookings online, through its call centres and through walk-in.

Tune Hotels.com offer budget no-frills accommodation. Even air-conditioning is regarded as a priced add-on, which guests may opt for by paying for it. Other additionals include WIFI, towel rental, toiletries and travel insurance.

Guests staying at Tune Hotels.com requiring airport transfers is served by Captrans, the airport transfer provider. The fare for a one-way trip to the Penang International Airport is estimated at RM18 one way. Captrans also offer van charter as well as city tour and beach tour.
