Taman Gambier are low-cost flats in Bukit Gambier, Penang. Built on freehold land, each unit is about 500 square feet in size. The estimated selling price is between RM60,000 to RM70,000. Maintenance fee is RM40 per month.

Location

Taman Gambier is 9.9 km from Magazine Circus. Unfortunately, the fact that this is a low-cost development is unescapable from the overall poor maintenance of the area.

Public Transport

Rapid Penang Bus 302 passes through Jalan Bukit Gambier. Distance from main road is approximately 60 meters.

Amenities

The nearest schools are Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bukit Jambul, Sekolah Rendah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina) Keong Hoe in Sungai Dua, and Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Bukit Gambier in Bukit Gambier. The nearest market is the Super Tanker Market. The nearest shopping centre are Tesco Extra and Bukit Jambul Complex. The nearest petrol station is Petronas Bukit Gambier, which is just a short distance away. The nearest hospital is Lam Wah Ee Hospital in Batu Lanchang.

Traffic

Traffic is heavy along Jalan Bukit Gambier. Contrary to what is shown on the Google Map, traffic from the city to Taman Gambier has to make a u-turn in front of Plaza Ivory, increasing the distance.
