The restoration of the St Joseph's Novitiate cost RM10 million, according to the executive chairman of Hunza, Datuk Khor Teng Tong. This includes RM3.5 million to underpin the foundation.

The first two levels of the two tower blocks of Gurney Paragon are occupied by food and beverage outlets including The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Wong Kok Restaurant, Petite Millie French restaurant, Brussels Beer Cafe, T.G.I Friday's, Pacific Coffee Company and Goku Raku Ramen.

A public square affording an expansive view of the Gurney Drive waterfront is between the tower blocks in front of St Jo's. It will be part of a new Gurney Paragon pedestrian mall that will stretch past the St Joseph's Novitiate building to the Gurney Paragon Mall that is presently under construction.
