 Sri Muneeshwarar Temple, Penang
Sri Muneeshwarar Temple is a small Hindu shrine along Jalan Tengku Kudin in Gelugor, Penang. It is along the highway near the Gelugor Roundabout. The temple, as with many of the Hindu shrines in the Gelugor area, was established by the Indians who were the predominant ethnic group in the area until the mid 20th century, when the Gelugor area underwent rapid development. Since then, the small shrine has become hemmed in by the increasingly heavy traffic all around it.
