Springroll is similar to popiah, except that it is deep fried. There are two types: the
po3piah1 cni3 (meaning, "deepfried popiah"), which is usually available as one of the items sold by the
Lor Bak seller, and the
choon3 piah4, which is sold as a side dish, particularly at Nyonya-style restaurants. The
choon piah springrolls are usually larger than the
popiah cni of Lor Bak stalls. They are served with a dip comprising sliced chilli and ang

2, a Chinese version of Worcestershire sauce.
One of the places famous for springrolls is the Senior Citizen Association. Sadly, that restaurant has ceased operations. I will search for and list out places where you can enjoy spring roll, apart from those available with Lor Bak.
