Shopping for Titbits in Penang

Shopping for Titbits in Penang is a fun activity for visitors to Penang, especially those who are from neighbouring states. Here's a list of where to go and what to buy there:
- Chowrasta Market
This is the traditional stop for out-of-town shoppers. You can find stalls on the front side of the market selling local (and not so local) products such as preserved nutmeg, delicacies such as Tau San Pneah, Beh Teh Sor, dodol, and so on.

- Campbell Street

- Ghee Hiang and Him Heang
These are the two famous shops selling Chinese pastries. Both are now located along busy stretches of Burmah Road, though Ghee Hiang also its main outlet at the junction of Macalister and Anson Roads.
- Air Itam Village
The market area at the foot of Kek Lok Si Temple has shops selling local delicacies and oilment. The passageway towards Kek Lok Si is also lined with such shops.
