Raja Gopal Road, George Town, Penang
Raja Gopal Road, or Jalan Raja Gopal, is a small no-through road in George Town. It is linked to Burmah Crescent, making it one of the more obscure roads away from any main roads of the city.
Raja Gopal Road is mainly residential in character with townhouses build during the mid 20th century. It was named after A. Rajagopal, a prominent Indian businessman in the mid 20th century who served as the honorary Secretary General of the Malaysian Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Penang, in 1958-59.
