The Penang Water Sports Centre is the place to go for kayaking and boating. The centre is located in Tanjung Bungah, near to Batu Ferringhi. Here, you can rent kayaks to row in the sea off the Tanjung Bungah shore. Life jackets are also provided. The the Penang Water Sports Centre, you can rent two types of kayaks - those with single rower and those with twin rowers. The crafts are rented out according to time, although they are not usually strict in time keeping. The energetic may consider rowing all the way to Pulau Tikus, the islet off Tanjung Bungah. At the centre, you can also watch the dragon boat teams practising.

Getting there

Rapid Penang buses 101, 103 and 104 goes through Tanjung Bungah.
