Although you are free to print out any page of this website for your own personal, non-commercial use, and take it to explore Penang on your own, there is nothing quite like having someone showing you around.
Your guide will take you around, either on foot, or in his or her car. In either case, the fee is the same: RM90 per hour inclusive of petrol, minimum 2 hours. This is the same price whether you are one person or a group of up to four persons, as you are paying for the person's time. Entrance fees to sights are not included.
When you sign up for a personal tour, you will be expected to pay a deposit equivalent to 2 hours via bank transfer or Paypal.
