Megamal Pinang Shopping Complex is the biggest shopping mall in the northern part of Malaysia. It is located along State Route 1, beside the North-South Highway, in Seberang Perai. Catering to the middle and lower-middle class market,Megamal Pinang has over 600 outlets and 2,500 parking bays.

Constructed in the early 1990's, about the same time that the same developer completed Bukit Jambul Complex. Due to its massive size, the shopping mall was never fully occupied. Its anchor tenant is The Store and Pacific Hypermarkets. Other tenants include Popular Bookstore, McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut and Starbucks, among others.

Getting there

Megamal Pinang is located next to the Perai bus terminal. Among the buses that goes there include Rapid Penang Bus 601, 602, 701, 704, 705, and 801.
