Medan Selera Sri Tambang Mee Udang (22 July 2015)


Medan Selera Sri Tambang Mee Udang (GPS: 5.43055, 100.43152) is a popular mee udang stall in Kampung Kota, Seberang Perai Tengah. It is located just off Jalan Sungai Dua, to the south of the Prai River.

I went there a few years ago with a friend, but I could recall the restaurant until more recently, when my wife and I rediscovered it, and went there to have dinner. There was a storm coming our way, so we exited the North South Expressway and went there for our dinner.

The seafood here is sold by weight. I do not recall how much we paid, but I believe it was over RM30 for two plates of mee udang. On the whole, the taste is not bad, but we felt the seafood grossly overpriced.
