Masjid Al-Ittifaq, also known as Masjid Sungai Nibong Kecil, is an old mosque that has been renovated and expanded a few times. It is located at Kampung Seberang Paya in Sungai Nibong Kecil. The area is now often regarded as part of the Bukit Jambul locality, being right next to the Bukit Jambul Golf Course.

Masjid Al-Ittifaq began as a small surau that expanded over time to become a full-fledged mosque. Unfortunately, as with many old mosques, the expansion has erased the original architecture, leaving it with a structure without any particular architectural style.

Getting there

Masjid Al-Ittifaq is located along Jalan Tun Dr Awang. Rapid Penang buses no. 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 306, 307, 308 and Y705 all pass through Jalan Tun Dr Awang.
