Jalan Larut

Larut Road is a road in George Town. It runs from Northam Road (Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah) to Burmah Road. Built during the later part of the 19th century, Larut Road was named after the region of Perak that yielded enormous quantity of tin, propelling the fortune of Penang with it.
