Kampar Road, Penang
Kampar Road is one of the minor roads off Jalan Air Itam. It connects Jalan Air Itam to the west with Terengganu Road to the east.
As with many of the roads in this part of George Town, Kampar Road was named after a town in Malaysia, in which case, the town of Kampar in Perak. The road was established in the early 20th century. Originally a village road, it has since been paved and developed. The most important site along Kampar Road is the Theravada Buddhist temple, Mahindarama. Among the properties along Kampar Road include the Taman Kampar Apartments.
