About Jalan Timah

Jalan Timah is a small road in George Town. It links Jalan Gurdwara (Brick Kiln Road) with Jalan Kampung Jawa Baru. The road derived its name from the huge tin smelting plant that used to exist within the area now occupied by the Penang Times Square project.

Getting there

From the Komtar Bus Terminal, walk to Penang Road and then turn left, go along Penang Road until the junction of Jalan Gurdwara. Walk along Jalan Gurdwara with Gama Department Store on your right. You will soon arrive at Jalan Timah on your right.
