Jalan Mayang Pasir, Bayan Baru, Penang

Jalan Mayang Pasir is one of the major roads in Bayan Baru, Penang. It runs parallel to Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah.

The oldest section of Jalan Mayang Pasir is between the junction of Jalan Mahsuri to the junction with Tingkat Nibong. It was built in the 1970's, when the township of Bayan Baru was first developed. Several years later, Jalan Mayang Pasir was extended to reach Jalan Tengah. From there, it was further extended into Bukit Gedung.

Today Jalan Mayang Pasir is a major retail thoroughfare in Bayan Baru.
