Jalan Berani is a minor road in the outskirts of George Town. Accessed from Dato Kramat Road via Jalan Singapura, the road was formerly known as Jalan Brani. It was named after Pulau Brani, an island off Singapore.

The present name also means brave in Malay. The island is however still spelled as Pulau Brani.
