Island Hospital is one of the newest medical institutions in Penang. It is located at the junction of Macalister Road and Peel Avenue. It prides itself as having some of the best medical facilities on the island (with prices to match).

Among the facilities at Island Hospital include heart centre, laser centre for vision correction, sports centre for physiotheraphy and rehabilitation, fertility centre, spine centre, urology centre, oncology centre and pharmacy.
