  Penang Immigration Department Building, George Town

The Penang Immigration Department Building or Bangunan Jabatan Immigresen is an impressive double storey building which was built in 1890. It is located within the compound of the Central Police Station, and was originally intended to house the administrative office of the police force.
The building has a porte cochere facing north. The walls of the groundfloor is done in imitation rustication with keystoning at the arches. The top of the building features moulded cornice underlining a balustered parapet.
