Hui Aun Association (GPS: 5.41219, 100.3319), or Hui Aun Kong Hooi, is a Hokkien district association founded in 1914. It is located along Magazine Road, across from 1st Avenue Mall. Most of its members are from the working class, including trishaw peddlers, mechanics and construction workers. Women construction workers also joined this association. From this bottom rung of society, a few of its members had risen to become some of the richest and most influential people in Penang. Among them was the late Tan Sri Loh Boon Siew.
