Pantai Hospital, formerly known as Hospital Pantai Mutiara, is the first private hospital in the Bayan Lepas area of Penang Island. It is at 82 Jalan Tengah, 11900 Bayan Lepas. Its location makes it ideal to serve the community of Bayan Baru, Bayan Lepas and the Free Trade Zone area.
Pantai Hospital is one of the hospital of Pantai Holdings. It is jointly owned by Pantai Holdings Bhd., Koperasi Tunas Muda Bhd. and Geh Sim Wah Sdn. Bhd. It was established in 1997 with 50 beds. Since then, the hospital has expanded and today has 250 beds and 31 specialist doctors. The hospital was awarded the MS ISO 9001:2000 Certification by SIRIM QAS in 2002 and 2003. They also received a full 3 years Hospital Accreditation Award by the Malaysia Society for Quality in Health (MSQH).
