Doing Housework

Do you like to do housework? Most people don't like to do household chores. However, if you live on your own, you still have to do it. Some people are fortunate. They stay with parents, so they don't have to do anything. Mother does it all. Some people hire Indonesian maids. Last time, people hire ah sam, but nowadays it's not possible to find ah sam anywhere.

I don't hire anybody to do my housework. No money to do that! I also do not like people staying in my house. Last time, when my mother was alive, we hired an Indonesian maid to look after my mother, at my eldest brother's house. After my mother passed on, the maid returned to Indonesia.

Doing housework is very time consuming. Today I mop the floor. Mopped the bedroom, the living room, the kitchen, even the toilet. Before mopping I have to sweep it first. Swept under the bed, under the table, even under the fridge. Sweeping and moping consume an hour. Tomorrow I will wipe the furniture. I have been to some people's house. Never cleaned. Dust everywhere. Looks like they also do not notice it. Me, I can't stand it at all!

About this website

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
