Gurney Park is a condominium complex comprising two blocks of 39-storey condominiums accessed through Kelawei Road, Penang. There are a total of 588 condominium units, each with a size of 900 square feet, on freehold tenure. Estimated selling price is between RM270,000 to RM350,000 while estimated monthly rental is between RM1,000 to RM2,500. Maintenance fee is RM135 per month.

Location

Gurney Park is 3.9 km from Magazine Circus. It is ideal for those who work in the city, with the added convenience of having Gurney Plaza, a big upscale shopping mall, right next door. On the downside, its proximity to Gurney Plaza means that traffic along this stretch of Gurney Drive is constantly heavy.

Public Transport

Rapid Penang Bus 103 pass through Kelawei Road while 304 is the only bus that passes through Gurney Drive.

Amenities

The nearest market is the Pulau Tikus Market. The nearest shopping mall is Gurney Plaza next door. The nearest petrol stations are the Mobil and Shell along Kelawei Road, Shell along Burmah Road, and the Shell and Caltex along Jalan Tanjong Tokong. The nearest schools include the Penang Chinese Girls' High School, Sri Inai International School and St Xavier's Primary School. The nearest hospital is the Penang Adventist Hospital.

Traffic

Gurney Park is entered through Kelawei Road, which is usually congested for much of the day. The road is not very wide, allowing only two lanes of traffic - one on each direction. With Gurney Plaza located next door, you will find a lot of vehicles going in and out from the mall.
