Follow Me Building

The Follow Me Building, or to be precise Tohtonku headquarters, is located in a heritage building at 186 Jalan Burma, Penang. This is the company that brings us all the personal care and household products under the brand names of Follow Me, Nutox, Nanowhite, Alaisyah, Ubermen and Secret. Of these, the flagship line is Follow Me.

Tohtonku Sdn Bhd is a Penang-based company founded by Mr Lim Joi Him way back in 1964. It was the sole distributor for King Kong Rat Killer, and Mr Lim became so synonymous with the rat poison that he earned the nickname of King Kong Lim.

In 1978, Mr Lim passed the running of the company to his sons. Tohtonku continued to grow and add products. The Follow Me brand was introduced in the late 80's following the building of the Follow Me plant in Penang in 1987.

Today Tohtonku continues to be based in Penang, with a Sales & Marketing office in Kuala Lumpur.
