It will take you a long while to wade through rush hour traffic if you work in George Town (that won't stop some from buying here though). Some realtor websites advertise that it is within walking distance to the beach. I partially agree, as it is not exactly beach front, and require a fair amount of walking to actually touch the sea with your foot. Along the way however, there's lots of restaurants and shops.Public TransportRapid Penang Bus 101 pass by along the main road of Jalan Batu Ferringhi.AmenitiesThe nearest petrol stations are the Esso and Caltex in Tanjung Bungah. The nearest schools include SK Batu Ferringhi and SJK (C) Pai Chai. The nearest market is the Tanjung Bungah Market. The nearest shopping is at Island Plaza, Straits Quay and Tesco Tanjung Pinang.TrafficTraffic along Jalan Sungai Emas is manageably low, while the traffic along Jalan Batu Ferringhi is moderately heavy, and slightly congested where the road narrows. | ||
