Desa May is 14.7 km from Magazine Circus. The buses pass through Jalan Tun Dr Awang and Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim, the two main roads here. Rapid Penang Bus 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 306, 308 and 704 pass within the vicinity. For some of these routes you need to walk to the bus stop at Jalan Tun Dr Awang.

The main roads surrounding Relau are all heavily congested in the morning and evening, due in part to traffic passing through from Paya Terubong and Balik Pulau towards Bayan Lepas Industrial Zone.
